Venturing into the website design process can seem intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. By shifting your mindset a little, and working with an energized partner like Allison Kessler (that’s me), (re)designing your site can be fun and exciting.
Unfortunately, translating your passion online isn’t exactly straightforward, there’s never enough time in the day, and the multitude of technical options can be completely overwhelming. And let’s not pay any attention to that tiny voice in your head saying, “Should I just go back to work?“
It’s like your masculine and feminine sides are arguing:
Being able to successfully communicate your essence on your website is half of the equation. Turning your website and business into a profitable venture is absolutely essential. I want you to do both! The more money your website brings in, the more attention you will give it, and the more people you can help. It’s a win win win.
I show you how to do this.
What I Offer
I help you dig deeper into who you are, who you serve and what you offer and then connect these key elements up with a kick-ass website and email system.
You are not alone! Building your online empire is so much easier and fun when working with a trusted and supportive partner like me.
The best part is you will have the keys to your own online assets in order to be empowered to run your own business, with my continued support of course.
Thinking about a website design or redesign for your business?
Hi, I’m Allison Kessler, and your inspiring website strategist. I’ve been web designing since 2001, when I got my Web Designer Certificate from Algonquin College in Ontario, Canada. I started up my first web business as a partnership in Ottawa and ran it successfully from 2002 to 2008. After [a long story], Fun4business was born in 2009. (At my age, you tend to have long stories 😉 ask me about it sometime!) After I had an awakening in my business in early 2019, I’ve decided to transform my branding to be under my real name. Bear with me as I complete this process.
I'm a Canadian mompreneur
I live in Calgary with my boyfriend Luke, toddler Damian and 15-year-old daughter. I absolutely love being a mompreneur. I get to work from home, make my own hours and spend lots of quality time with my lil guy. You see, I did the daycare thing with my oldest and now I want the full experience of being a mom. You’ll often see me out with Damian getting fresh air and exercise, which he seems to enjoy as much as I do. Here’s a picture of us when he was really tiny:
I'm an avid reader
You’ll always see me with a book and I want to share with you two books that have changed the way I do business.
I was gifted Profit First by Mike Michalowicz and it turned my business around practically overnight. I hadn’t been paying attention to making money, only spending it. Now I’m in business to make money. Duh. Thanks Mike! Every business owner needs to read this book.
The second book I highly recommend is Tapping Into Wealth by Margaret Lynch. This book literally jumped off a library shelf on me while I was picking up another book. (I mean, what could be a more obvious sign!) It turns out I’ve had a number of subconscious inner blocks around money and these limiting beliefs have been holding me back for years. I went through this book not once, but twice. I wanted to make sure I stamped all those false ideas out completely. What a difference! Years of layers holding me down fell off me in a matter of minutes. Yeah. I know. Anyhow, I highly recommend trying this method out.
On being heart-centered...
Before I had my son in 2017, my purpose in life was shifting into the healing arts. I was reading Tarot cards professionally, a member of my church’s healing touch team, and training to become a drum circle facilitator (what a rush!). After my son was born – an unexpected miracle – my life path did a U-turn back to web design and I’m so glad it did. I love working with female entrepreneurs, helping them set up and maintain their websites, making their dreams a reality. Small business is an important element for building a sustainable, global community. Women need communities and support to do their best work. We can do this ladies! Together 🙂
